FFL License Requirements - Federal Firearms License

Federal Firearms License Requirements

A federal firearms license is issued by the bureau of alcohol tobacco firearms. Whether you intend to own a firearm, wish to manufacture firearms, ammunition or explosives or simply want to collect a few curio and relic firearms, everyone would require a federal firearms license also called an FFL License to be able to do so, legally.

Laws vary between states and the exact statutes and requisites would depend on the state laws and the types of firearms license you apply for. However, there are some general prerequisites that are applicable if you were to apply for a federal firearms ffl license in the United States.

  6. I have heard that if a person is having a history of DUI then he cannot apply for the gun license, is it true? If that is true then I must say that the gun laws are made by a drunkard. Especially this particular law. What a DUI case of a person has got to do with gun license, I don't understand!!!!
